Taking the Path Less Travelled

As a 6-year-old, I wanted to do something "different" for a living. I became a surgeon - a well-trodden path instead. Thankfully, life has a curious way of correcting your course. The pandemic reawakened my inner child. Teaching people about the impact of emotions on physical and mental health is very different from simply cutting out a diseased appendix or putting in a new kidney.

Transmuting Shadow to Light

During the pandemic, I was forced to face my demons - an avoidant attachment style and the narcissistic personalities this attracted into my life. After developing a secure attachment to myself and people, I now share my healing experience through YouTube videos and blog posts.

In the Spirit of Adventure

Adventure is my middle name. Traveling to new places pushes me outside my comfort zone. Queenstown, NZ is my favorite adventure destination. Santa Barbara is my quick getaway. Thai and Korean are my favorites cuisines. I love mother nature. I hike whenever I can, love working with horses and use my camera to share stories.

And sometimes ‘I just Be-es’. It’s good for creativity. When I'm not at work, you will find me curled up on the couch with a book, with a scented candle sipping coffee (decaf).

My all-time favorite fictional book is Pride and Prejudice but I prefer non-fiction. Life changing non-fiction books have been - Think and Grow Rich, The Four-Hour Work Week, A Short History of Nearly Everything & A Brief History of Time.
